Mark Mouthaan focuses on finance, restructuring and insolvency.
As lawyer with NautaDutilh, and as secondee and legal counsel at ABN AMRO, ING and Deutsche Bank, he has for over thirteen years managed various transactions and projects, for companies and banks in various industries, in going concern and distressed situations. Before he joined Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh in september 2020 he worked in the insolvency team of the Court of Rotterdam.
Mark graduated from the Erasmus University (cum laude) and completed four postgraduate programs on insolvency law, finance and security (cum laude), securities law and financial economics for insolvency lawyers. In 2022 Mark completed the specialist course Dutch Scheme Restructuring Expert (excellent). He currently follows the post-graduate course Corporate Restructuring at the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, an initiative of the Dutch Restructuring Association (DRA).
He is a member of the Netherlands Association of Insolvency Lawyers "INSOLAD", the DRA, INSOL Europe and the Netherlands Association for Comparative and International Insolvency Law, and has for ten years been an unremunerated member (and seven years as secretary) of a board for the hearing of appeals and disputes.
