Yvette advises clients on a wide range of financing transactions and restructurings, often in distressed situations. She also regularly litigates on financing and insolvency related matters. Before joining Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh in 2021, Yvette worked for six years at a leading Benelux law firm in London and Amsterdam. She also gained valuable experience during secondments at a bank, working in the financial restructuring & recovery and asset-based finance departments.

  • Advising on a WHOA proceeding that resulted in a successful debt reduction from €22 million to €4.3 million
  • Supporting an agricultural company in documenting a €30,000,000 credit facility
  • Advising a lender on a €5,000,000 loan to a cleantech company
  • Documenting shareholder loans, intra-group financing and private lending structures for various clients

Insolvency and Litigation

  • Assisting the liquidator of IHC B.V., former owner of Royal IHC
  • Representing LumiraDx and FTI Consulting LLP in the sale to Roche Diagnostics Limited (USD 295,000,000), through a UK pre-packaged administration
  • Representing a high-net-worth individual in an exit from a real estate project in the The Hague region
  • Investigating and dismantling a digital identity platform for a professional legal association
